River Shuttles

River Shuttles (Private Boaters)

Available Year-round
All of our river trips includes the shuttle as part of the pricing.  For those paddlers with their own boats/equipment, we also offer shuttles for private boaters on any of the rivers that we service.
  • For Big South Fork trips, we meet you at the take-out point and shuttle you/boats/gear) to the put-in point.
  • For Cumberland River trips, we meet at Sheltowee Trace Outfitters, drop your car at the take-out and shuttle/boats/gear to the put-in.
  • Meeting times are coordinated with our rental trips
  • Prices are set from the furthest distance we must travel
  • We do shuttle dogs, but please let us know when making a reservation.
Pricing:
  • All pricing (unless per person is specified) is for up to 4 people and their associated gear/boats.
  • Add $40 for any access point that requires 4-wheel drive
  • Add $50 for a special meet time

    Cumberland River
  • Upper and Lower Cumberland:  $30
  • Cumberland Below the Falls:  $30
    • In conjunction with our rafting trip:
      • $7/person (shuttle only OR tow-out only);
      • $14 (shuttle plus tow-out)
      • $21 (shuttle plus tow-out plus lunch)

    Big South Fork River
  • Kentucky portion (Blue Heron, Yamacraw, Alum Ford, Hwy 927:  $40
  • Tennessee (Middle Section, Station Camp, Leatherwood Ford): 
    • On Saturdays from April 15 through June 30:   $25/person.
    • All other days :  $60
  • Tennessee (Upper Section, Burnt Mill, Confluence, Pine Creek):  $75
    • In conjunction with our rafting trip: $10/person

    Russell Fork River
  • In conjunction with our rafting trip:  $10/person
