Sightseeing cruise with late lunch
A 65-foot double-decker riverboat, the Cumberland Star plies the headwaters of Lake Cumberland in much the way packet boats connected the river towns along the Cumberland before Wolf Creek dam was built. Sit back and relax as you watch the riverbanks glide by. Blue Herons, cormorants, and the occasional eagle can be spotted enjoying the solitude and fishing the waters of the lake. Sharp-eyed guests may spot snapping turtles, or even an occasional beaver.
Meets at the Mouth of the Laurel Boat Ramp.

Charter cruises
Board the Cumberland Star riverboat at the Mouth of the Laurel Boat Ramp, where the Cumberland and Laurel rivers come together to form the headwaters of Lake Cumberland. Cruise downriver, enjoying the view of the rock palisades from either the upper sun deck, or the lower shaded deck. the cruises ends back at your vehicles. Shuttle services from local hotels may be arranged for your group for an additional fee.

- Cruise-only - 1 ½ hour round trip cruise. $400 minimum.
$20/ages 13+, $13/ages 6-12, No charge for 5 and under. - Cruise-only Plus - 1 ½ hour round trip cruise with drinks (water, lemonade, and gatorade) and snack food included. $400 minimum.
$24/ages 13+. $17/ages 6-12, No charge for 5 and under. - Breakfast - 2 hour round trip cruise with a continental style breakfast buffet (Danishes, fruit, yogurt, rolls, milk, orange juice). $500 minimum.
$30/ages 13+, $23/ages 6-12, No charge for 5 and under. - Lunch - 2 hour round trip cruise with lunch buffet. Hot lunch option is chili or stew- based; cold lunch option is make-your-own sub sandwiches. Drinks are included. $500 minimum.
$30/ages 13+, $23/ages 6-12, No charge for 5 and under. - Dinner - 2 ½ hour round trip cruise with hot dinner buffet. Menu options are set by organizer. A typical menu would be chicken parmesan, roast beef, salad, pasta, mashed potatoes, vegetables au gratin, bread and dessert. Drinks are included in price. $800 minimum.
