Trip meets directly behind Cumberland Regional Mall. Trip takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
Appropriate for ages 4-6 with a double tube, and ages 7+ on a single or double tube. Laze your way down the Cumberland River, shooting through narrow tubes and enjoying the underwater rock formations. This tube trip floats the section of river starting behind Cumberland Regional Mall; the take-out is 1 mile down at Williamsburg Boat Ramp. Pricing:

Big South Fork tubing - groups 15 or MoreTrip meets at Blue Heron River Access.
Trip takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Appropriate for ages 4-6 with a double tube, and ages 7+ on a single or double tube. The trip starts and ends at the Blue Heron Mine interpretive area in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The 1½ - 2 hour trip covers about a mile of river and includes several Class I and one Class II rapid (Joe Shoals). The Blue Heron Mine interpretive area is a partially restored mining town with a self-paced walking tour. Doing the tour either before or after the tube trip makes for a very pleasant afternoon.
